This October was filled with fashion and I loved every moment of it! This was my first year attending Chicago’s Fashion Week and I attended three shows.
On Wednesday October 16th, I went to the Live Out Loud Down the Runway which was a charity show for suicide prevention hosted by V103’s radio personality Consuella also known as Connie. Designers showcased was Crystal B. Designs, Purpose Handmade Jewelry, GIDI, and Project Runway Season 12 contestant Kahindo Mateene of Modanik. To view Modanik’s Spring collection click here.
On Friday October 18th, I went to the Art of Fashion Show hosted by Style Chicago. Designer showcased was Borris Powell, Calvin Tran, Eva Pazola, Hector Javier-Monarrez, Liliy & Migs, Maria Pinto, Mark Roscoe, Michelle Tan, SHALINI, and Shernett Swaby. To see my favorite collections click here.
The final showcase was Curves. Couture. Chicago. presented by Thyck Troupe which was hosted by Windy City Live host Val Warner. Designers showcased were: The Steve Harvey Collection, Jack Cave, Blair Chic Boutique, Chocolate Sushi Couture, Soundchick Accessories, and Bonjour Madame of Niles.
