The summer is slowly coming to an end. Every year this time around I find myself in deep reflection. I started this year with a list full of goals, like becoming a vegetarian, getting a new gig, lose weight, become healthier, meet new people and travel. Life is definitely not a race. The journey to achieving your dreams is hard, but it’s so worth it. I started the year out strong. I’ve been a vegetarian for 9 months now and I love it. I’ve lost and gain a few pounds back. I interned at a top PR agency this year and loved every minute of it. I took a lot of risk and accomplished many things on my list of goals for 2014. Although I have reach some, I haven’t reached all of my goals and it has frustrated me a little. For a second I thought something was wrong with me. For the last 7 years I have worked hard and to finally have time to think and find myself again has been rewarding. There’s such a peace inside of me that has been breath taking.
Earlier this summer, I had the time to make my first dream board. It took me a few weeks to make but it was so worth it. I have so many friends who swear by vision boards, so I decided why not make one? Although nothing has come to past YET having my vision board posted on my wall in front of my bed has encouraged me to get up every morning. I’m so excited about what the future holds. I started the year strong and I am going to finish strong.
Millie, I haven’t done nearly as much as you! Lol I did move to a new state and try a new job but you being a vegetarian for 9 months??! Wow. So proud of you, love this post.
Thanks Tay! I’m grateful for your support! Xo
